For UK orders it takes 2-4 business days, and for International shipping it takes from 5-14 business days depending on the country.
According to the Oral Health Foundation, adults should use soft bristles.
Worn-out toothbrushes cannot clean your teeth properly and may damage your gums. It is important to change your TOOTH.HEAD every 2 to 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become worn. When bristles become splayed, they do not clean properly!

TOOTH.HANDLE is made from 100% recycled aluminium. Find out more about our product features here.
We use Floreon, a tough bioplastic, to produce TOOTH.HEAD. Floreon is made from PLA, a plant-based material mainly derived from renewable resources such as corn and sugar cane. Using renewable resources minimises the environmental impact during production. Because of this, it is a sustainable and low carbon footprint alternative to the oil-based plastics we are so used to.
We are working on a degradable version of the bristles so we can compost the head in the future, but until then we recommend recycling the heads when they reach their end-of-life. Find out more about our product features here.
In the correct conditions TOOTH.HEAD (Body) will fragment into small pieces within 3 months and be completely degraded back to carbon dioxide and water within 6 months.
All packaging is made from FSC materials and is fully recyclable.
TOOTH.CASE is made from 100% recycled BPA-free plastic. The case is dishwasher safe (50°). Find out more about our product features here.

The packaging is 100% recyclable, so can be disposed of in your domestic recycling.
For TOOTH.HEAD, it should ideally be composted using industrial facilities to ensure the process is completed in a timely manner. But you can alternatively home compost these products or they will naturally degrade in nature. For best results, it’s all dependent upon temperature and oxygen levels and good rotation of the compost.
For the UK: We would recommend removing the bristles from the head with some pliers. You can put the recyclable bristles in the recycling bin. TOOTH.HEAD you can send to an industrial composting facilities like Veolia. We know, this not the best solution currently but we are working to make sure this does NOT have to be the case in the future. The bristles will also be compostable and we are working on home compostability for the entire head currently.

As a new product, it can be a bit stiff to get TOOTH.HEAD into TOOTH.HANDLE. We suggest putting the head halfway into the handle 2-4 times before clicking it in. By doing that, you would be able to loosen the fit of the head a bit, making it easier to remove later on. If you’re still struggling, please contact us and send us some photos to help@tooth.eco
We've opted for smaller sized heads. This allows for optimal cleaning and navigation in your mouth and our layered bristle profile lets you reach almost any angle. We worked closely with the Oral Health Foundation to develop our TOOTH.HEAD design.
All of our products are vegan and we never test on animals. There are no plans to change that, ever.
We bring TOOTH.HANDLE finishes in and out of the product offering frequently. Please visit the product page to see which finishes are currently being produced.
The anodised finishes (Charcoal, Rose, Ash, Gold) are hard and overall resilient. However, with time and usage they will likely show wear, tear and love.
Our products are made to last and are backed by a lifetime warranty (while subscribed). We do understand that the upfront cost can feel a bit expensive, however, brushing with our TOOTH.SETs unlocks the use of a changeable eco-friendly toothbrush head that is either price matched or cheaper than other quality plastic or bamboo toothbrushes on the market (depending on which TOOTH.PLAN you pick).
We UV sterilise every TOOTH.HEAD and its packaging at our manufacturing facility before sending it to you.
Care questions
We recommend placing TOOTH.HANDLE in a bowl with some warm water and using an old TOOTH.HEAD to clean the logo & connection point. Once cleaned, allow to dry (or blow water out the connection point) before attaching a new TOOTH.HEAD.
For tougher build-ups or hard water marks, soak TOOTH.HANDLE in a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water for up to 15 minutes, then scrub with a drop of dish soap and an old TOOTH.HEAD before allowing to dry.

Dentists and Hygienists recommend throwing-away the TOOTH.HEAD you used when you were ill.
Before clicking in a new TOOTH.HEAD, place TOOTH.HANDLE in a bowl of warm water for around 15 seconds then remove, allow to dry (or blow water out the connection point) and attach your new TOOTH.HEAD and away you go.

You'll receive 1x TOOTH.HEAD with your first order. You can then adjust your subscription from your customer account on the account in case you need it earlier.

Order & shipping questions
All products purchased from www.tooth.eco are covered by the Tooth's Quality Guarantee. If you don't love the product, return it within 14 days for a refund (from day of receiving the items). Just contact us and we'll take care of it. For more information please, check out our Refund Policy.

If you are unhappy with any of our items, please contact us for unwanted items within 14 days and we will issue a refund - wether you've used it or not. However, used items cannot be returned.

Refunds
Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and issue a refund.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you still have not received your refund, please contact us at payments@tooth.eco
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Some products are too big to fit through a standard letterbox. If you're not in when your order arrives our delivery partner will attempt to deliver a further two times, or leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour. In some instances, they may need to leave a card with additional instructions.

We try to pack and send orders as quickly as possible, which may mean it's too late to change or cancel an order. If you're on a Subscription Plan you can change the timing of your deliveries from your Profile. We'll also send you a reminder two days before your Subscription Set is due to dispatch in case you want to make any changes.

From 1 January 2021, the United Kingdom is no longer a member of the European Union and after that date, if you buy goods from the UK for personal use (excluding Northern Ireland), you may have to pay customs, excise duties and VAT.
When you buy online, you have additional protections under EU law. These rights do not apply if you buy from a trader based outside the EU.
From 1 January 2021, you will still have consumer rights when buying online from UK retailers. However, these rights will be set down in UK law and not EU law.
The legal guarantees you have under EU law may no longer apply. You should be aware that from 1 January 2021, you may have to pay taxes and duties such as customs duty and VAT when you buy from a UK business (except Northern Ireland). Whether or not you must pay additional charges depends on the value and origin of the products you bought.
The EU and UK have agreed a Trade and Cooperation Agreement (pdf) (the Brexit Trade Deal) that covers customs charges when buying goods from the UK. However, the deal only applies to products coming into Ireland that are manufactured or originate in the UK and comply with the rules of origin. This means that you may still have to pay customs duty on some items bought online in the UK and delivered to Ireland.
The Brexit Trade Deal does not impact on VAT. You may have to pay VAT on purchases from the UK from 1 January 2021.
We understand that this is not ideal, nevertheless, this is unfortunately something that is out of our control.
Since January 1st 2021 there has been a change in shipping taxes and regulations due to Brexit which is extremely frustrating.
