About us.

Designing beautiful and environmentally friendly oral care is what we do. We believe that the power of change lies in the small things...As small as a toothbrush.

About Us.

Designing beautiful and environmentally friendly oral care is what we do. We believe that the power of change lies in the small things...As small as a toothbrush.

Beating plastic pollution.

Over 4.7 billion plastic toothbrushes are produced worldwide every year and 99% of these brushes are not biodegradable. Every single toothbrush you have ever used is still in existence; either in a landfill or floating somewhere in the ocean.

Bamboo toothbrushes seem to be the current eco alternative, but they are still being made purposefully not to last. Whilst being better than polluting plastic, we believe that something you use everyday that is designed not to last, is inherently unsustainable.

Sustainable
design.

This is where we intend to be different. The toothbrush is often the thing that's overlooked in the bathroom. By insisting on both beauty and sustainability in its design, we have created an eco toothbrush that people want to keep forever, still recognising that the heads that have to be disposable.

We minimise the environmental impact of what you have to replace, by making the heads as small as possible and from plant-based, biodegradable plastic. The rest we make beautiful enough to keep for a lifetime.

Meet the founders.

Meet Joshua and Kiana, Tooth.eco's founders. Over several years of prototyping and development, they combined their knowledge of industrial design, branding and marketing to create a truly revolutionary product.

"I was tired of seeing the oral care category being part of the environmental problem, so we applied our design skills to start solving that."

Joshua Oates
Co-founder and CEO

"We believe that great design is at the heart of our solution - so people looking for an eco toothbrush don't have to compromise on aesthetics or ergonomics."

Kiana Guyon
Co-founder and CCO

Tooth.eco made its debut with a massively successful Kickstarter Campaign in 2019 which help us launch and get our first mass production run. We amassed over 3000 supporters and it’s thanks to them that we are able to bring Tooth.eco to life and really start making a difference to sustainability within the oral care sector.
